Hello! I’m Emily — a pianist, collaborative musician, and event performer based in Salt Lake City.

With a background spanning the ballet and theatre industries, weddings, and live events, I bring a flexible and thoughtful approach to creating music that feels personal, elevated, and tailored to each event's atmosphere. Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony, a private dinner party, a cocktail hour, or a large-scale celebration, I love helping create moments that feel both elegant and genuine.

Originally from the Midwest, I built much of my career in Chicago before pursuing a Master of Music degree in Piano for Dance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with organizations including Houston Ballet, Scottish Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Royal Danish Ballet, Visceral Dance Chicago, and many others throughout the dance and performing arts world.

In addition to my work in ballet and theatre, I’ve spent years performing for weddings and events — both as a solo pianist and in collaboration with string players and other musicians. I’m comfortable across a wide range of musical styles, from classical repertoire to contemporary and pop arrangements, and I’m happy to help customize music selections to fit the vision and energy of your event.

I provide a fully portable setup for venues without a piano and have experience performing in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor spaces. My goal is always to make the music portion of your event feel seamless, polished, and easy so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
